Boxwoods Gardens & Gifts

As a teaser to where I’ve been and why, I want to share my recent enchantment with Boxwoods Gardens & Gifts in the heart of Buckhead, the uptown district of Atlanta, Georgia.

Boxwoods offers nearly an acre of gardens with an array of outdoor plants and ornaments, but it’s much more than a nursery. Inside I found a mix of treasures, from fresh florals as well-turned-out as a starlet in Oscar finery, to dazzling home accessories that would send any house-proud hostess into a frenzy.

Add a scrumptious Easter display and a handful of unique vintage and antique pieces scoured from near and far, and you have fair idea of why I thought I had found heaven on earth.

Oh, and one more thing. When you’re at Boxwoods, close your eyes and inhale. It won’t take any imagination at all to believe you’re in a garden.

Located at 100 East Andrews Drive, Boxwoods has been named one of the Top 50 Retailers in the United States.

Thanks for the shopping idea. Mother and I will be in Atlanta for the SE Flower Show next month. I’m adding Boxwoods to my list of places to visit.

I have been going there for many years…it is definitely worth a trip…always something fun and unusual, but not inexpensive.

I can see why it was named one of the Top 10 Retailers in the US and also why you like it so much.Wish we had more places like Boxwoods to spend time in in Raleigh.
