Leeds Castle was a fitting end to the tour of Southern England, from Hampshire to Kent. The castle itself, often called the “loveliest” in England, was a real treat, and the garden, especially the Lady Baillie Garden of Mediterranean-style terraces and plantings, was great fun.
Safe travels to the group on the way home to North and South Carolina. As well as to Joyce and Philip, who are visiting Cornwall. I hope to be posting from Italy, where I’m visiting a friend and gathering inspiration for next year’s tours.
