    Beautiful leaves, they do look like snails. But special snails, not plant guzzling ones. A refined sort of snail that you would like to encourage and not stamp under foot.

    I LOVE this begonia…unfortunately, whenever it finds itself living in my home…it dies. Agreed, it is, structurally and visually speaking, a work of art

      Barbara–The subject of this week’s newspaper column is propagation of tender perennials, specifically begonias, with examples by Suzy Seagrave. Have you done a leaf cutting?

        I’m “short” on the patience required to do leaf cuttings(FG says it takes 6 months) but stem cuttings(about 3 weeks in ideal situations) might be doable. Looking forward to your article.
