Finished…for now

It’s been a year since a rarely used deck was removed from the back of our home and work commenced to build a main floor sunporch and basement level patio.  (For a look back, visit Construction Zone.)

In the months prior, however, Tim and I met with Kimberly Kerl of Kustom Home Design, to work out our ideas and obtain professional advice for the best possible outcome.  Though the project was completed in September, decorating continued into the late months of the year, and then life snowballed into holidays, winter events, and a busy spring.

Last week, I finally welcomed Kimberly back to photograph the completed project.  In anticipation of her arrival, I went all out to “fluff” the sunroom and patio so they would look their best.  Here’s a peek at the finished project…

Thanks, Kimberly!  Tim and I loved working with you and the result is even better than we hoped for.

Jessica–Yes, or at least he’s always proud to point out that he is the engineer who fixed it to the wall. And the story has almost become a family legend:^)
