Pat–We saw the bison coming a good way off and pulled over to wait. Then others saw what we are waiting for and did the same. We had a good handful of cars behind us, but this guy just jumps in front and pulls up where they’ll cross the road, much closer than park experts recommend. There’s always one, isn’t there?

Auto–Yes, it was very risky. He was about 3x closer than experts recommend. The rangers play videos at all the park centers that show what can happen if you get too close…and it isn’t pretty.

Jason–Oh, I wish Mr. Bison had gotten a bit rowdy. Others were waiting at a safe distance, then this guy swoops in and messes up everyone’s photos with his tripod and big white van.
